Jorts

Lightweight Chino Club Short

Wednesday, 03/17/10

These babies should take you anywhere. Worn with a t-shirt, a polo-style shirt, a long sleeve cotton button-down, or open collar shirt, these are the perfect alternative to the jort. Trust us.

Ripstop Squad Cargo Short

Tuesday, 03/16/10

Let's, for a moment, disregard the fact that these are called the "Ripstop Squad Cargo Shorts." We don't know what that means, and frankly, we don't care. These are nice shorts if you pull them out of the dryer and throw them on with, again, a t-shirt, a polo-type shirt, a long sleeve cotton shirt, or those cute short sleeve plaid #'s you guys wear so well. Just don't strut around like you are part of the "Ripstop Squad" and you should be okay.

The Original Shorts (9")

Monday, 03/15/10

These are another pair of solid khaki shorts. Nothing pleated, not too short, not too hipster, these are just a great basic to have in your closet. Wear with the aforementioned shirts, and a pair of loafers, cool sneakers (Vans, Converse, Jack Purcells, Stan Smiths), suede bucks, or flip flops and you're good to go. Try to avoid the socks with these if possible.

501® Original Jean

Sunday, 03/14/10

If it's too cold for shorts, and if it's less than 60 degrees people, it definitely is, go for the classic LEVIS 501 jean. In our book, Undateable, we say that "you really need to pay close attention here. Get the jeans wrong and your whole outfit is screwed. Jeans should be medium to dark blue, un-embellished, un-marred, hang on your hips, cover your ankles, and extend to at least the top of your shoe. End of story." Note: We don't know what the hell this guy has on his feet, but please disregard them!

Ties

The Repp Tie

Wednesday, 03/17/10

Bottom line, you can't go wrong with this tie. Perfectly inoffensive, classic, appropriate everywhere... if you don't feel the need to go any further, here's your tie. You're done. You're good. You're ready to rumble.

Ermenegildo Zegna Neat Silk Tie

Tuesday, 03/16/10

If you're looking for a tie with a little more, how shall we say... depth, try one with a "print pattern." This tie is a little more sophisticated than the Repp Tie, and can take you to all the right places. And the red print works great with a pale blue striped shirt.

Monkey Links Tie

Monday, 03/15/10

If you are truly confident in your masculinity, girls love to see a guy in a tie with little animals on them. It's true. We think it's cute, especially in a color like lavender or yellow. And if we think your tie is cute, there's a better chance we're going to think YOU'RE cute. It's just the way it is.

Salvatore Ferragamo Silk Zebra Tie

Sunday, 03/14/10

If you're really serious about making it happen, the king of all ties are, in our opinion, a Ferragamo silk tie. These are pricey, but worth it because they say so much, the most important of which is "I have a decent job." If you don't have a best friend talking you up to the ladies, this is the next best thing.

Hermes Silk Twill Tie, Hand-folded

Saturday, 03/13/10

Another king of ties... pricey, but also the perfect wing man.
